Rolesville, the second oldest town in Wake County, is a charming, rural town located northeast of Raleigh in Wake County. The town was named for an early prominent citizen, William (Billy) Roles in 1837. Today, Rolesville is thriving with expectations of continued growth due to its close proximity to Raleigh. The town has created a detailed plan for land use that includes new thoroughfares to assist in the expansion.

The current population is estimated to be around 2,800 people, but is growing at a steady rate. Real estate is certainly contributing to the growth. In 2007, $44.5 Million was spent in the town on construction improvements and 2,900 lots had been approved for development.  Rolesville is one of the fastest growing towns in the Research Triangle Park region.

Residents enjoy the close-knit community's gatherings throughout the year. There are plenty of opportunities to engage with the community including recreation, charity and volunteer events. Rolesville has beautiful parks, award-winning schools and delicious dining. In an effort to highlight these features, the town is beginning a new marketing campaign entitled, "The Road to Rolesville".
