East Carolina University

ECU is located just East of Raleigh, North Carolina via Highway 64 East By-Pass - Travel time from Raleigh is about 1.5 hours, quick trip from Raleigh to Greenville.  Greenville has close access to the Coast of North Carolina for those enjoying North Carolina Beaches.

ECU is known for its Pirates Football Team has a successful history and is enjoyed by not only those in Greenville, but Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, and throughout the Triangle Area of North Carolinas.

JY Joyner Library - Approximately 1.2 million bound volumes, 2 million pieces of microform, 535,000 government documents, more than 6,000 periodical subscriptions and more than 111,000 maps and chars.
Music Library - Branch of Joyner housing nearly 80,000 items.
Laupus Library - Approximately 135,000 bound volumes, 16,000 microform volumes, 700 periodicals and more than 6,000 e-journals held jointly with Joyner Library.
